The Mountain Chalet is a beautiful cottage that has become well-established as a couple’s favorite at Rivers Edge. The perfect honeymoon or anniversary getaway, this cottage is built for romance. The initial idea behind the Chalet was to provide a very secluded location where a couple could get away from all distractions and enjoy each other in a uniquely romantic setting. The Chalet offers that and more.
Designed for couples only, the Mountain Chalet features an all glass front with a scenic forest view, a sunken double jacuzzi in the great room, and a large walk-in shower for two beside the king size bed. The cabin is fully furnished and offers plenty of candles and bath robes for two. It has a wood-burning fireplace. The deck and jacuzzi end of the cabin are raised, giving its guests elevated privacy. Coffee, cappuccino, and popcorn are waiting for you when you arrive.
What else is included?
Bikes and canoes are always provided FREE with your stay at Rivers Edge Cottages. We provide firewood for each cabin between October 1 to April 1. Charcoal grills are provided at each cabin (don’t forget to bring your own charcoal!).
A large playground area is also available for all guests which includes a large sandpit volleyball area, horseshoe pit, swing set and grassy area for playing games.
