With Broken Bow Lake just 5 minutes up the road, you can easily have a day on the waterfront. Bring your boat along and explore the 14,000-acre lake with family & friends. These waters are also perfect for kayaking, fly fishing, and swimming. You’re also conveniently located less than 3 miles from Cedar Creek Golf Course. On water’s edge, you’ll find Beavers Bend State Park offering duck boat rides, horseback riding, and zip lining tours! Other popular activities in this area are ATV- trails, hiking, biking, and taking miniature train rides (perfect for the kids). When you want a taste of the local culture pop over to Hochatown BBQ for a delicious pulled pork sandwich, enjoy craft beer at the nearby Mountain Fork Brewery, or try a new wine at one of the two local wineries. The Grateful Head Pizza Oven and Taproom is also a local favorite. While you’re out, grab a drink at the Hochatown Saloon, visit the local petting zoo, or restock your gear at Hookers Bait Shop. Pets (maximum 2 dogs no cats) are welcome for a $50 per stay fee. This covers extra cleaning and deodorizing the crew does after a pet stay. Pets must be crated while away from the cabin. They cannot be locked in a room, bathroom, or left out. We love and welcome pets but they do require extra care and cleaning while at the cabin. There is a local doggie daycare and boarding facility if needed. Pets must be current on all shots, rabies vaccination, and free of fleas/ticks/mange and intestinal parasites. Pets are not allowed on any of the furniture. This includes sofas, beds and hot tub. The property is not fenced. Please leash your pets. There is wildlife and they will chase them. Any excessive cleaning of the inside, outside or excessive droppings outside will result in an excessive cleaning fee. Any damage to the interior or exterior of the cabin and or removal of cabin property will result in repair/replacement charges to the reservation holder. Do not chop down any trees or damage the forestry in any way. Help preserve resources by conserving water and turning off electricity when not in use.
